They weren’t meant to fall in love.
He was her teacher, she was his student.
But fate brought them together, and love grew quietly between them.

A soft desi romance about forbidden love, slow burn feelings and moments that stay with you.

Maybe this story will find you.

Hey,

I hope you’re having a cozy day, filled with books that feel like old friends.

I’m really sorry to slide into your space like this—I just came across your profile and noticed you enjoy emotional, character-driven stories. My friend has recently started sharing a story that’s really close to her heart, and I thought you might love it too.

It’s called In the Wake of Us.

          She’s never known love.
          He’s still haunted by it.
Neither of them saw the storm coming.

Maira believes she’s not meant to be loved.
Arham once was—and it broke him.
Now they’re bound by a marriage neither wanted, caught in a silence thick with pain and unspoken truths.

It’s a slow-burn, emotional read about grief, love, and the quiet ways people find their way back to themselves—and to each other. Not the kind of love that fixes everything… but the kind that changes you.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, it would mean a lot if you gave it a chance. My friend would be truly grateful for your support!

And if you ever feel like sharing your thoughts, she would love to hear them—only if you’re comfortable, of course.

Thank you so much for your time. It means more than you know.

@couchpot1at1oes i would love to give your book a try, but I would prefer reading it ones its complete cause I can't handle stress right now and the book has just started so the plot is building. Once the plot is completed and I know that it's a happy ending then I would surely read it. I am a 12th grade student so I hope you understand my reason. Will share it with my friends also. Thanks for the book suggestion
