Just started reading your story seeing that you are looking for feedback. I noticed that your paragraphs aren’t separated which isn’t a criticism, but would make it easier to give advise on individual sentences/paragraphs. Besides that, from what I read, it looks pretty good.
Sorry, I didn’t mean that it was hard to read. It just when the paragraphs are separated you can add individual comments on each paragraph instead of the chapter as a whole. The reading experience was fine.
