@_Jordundundun_2 well a few of the short stories ones are really tragic. And a few of them are bittersweet. I guess we both are C-novels fanatics
@_Jordundundun_2 ohhh some of those stories aren't in Ancient setting though. Like... Modernised Love (but this is book 2 of Entangled with the Prince, which was set in ancient period), Conquering Villains and Capturing Targets..., Tea of Summer, Ambiguous Relationship, Avoid the Protagonist!, A Slight Smile is Very Charming and some of the short stories. These are the non-ancient stories
@_Jordundundun_2 Hiiii.. hahhaha I must be a real C-novel fanatic I'd be more than happy to recommend you a few that I really like. But something like Ruyi is hard to find since it's one of a kind. Ruyi have such an overbearingly yandere ML and a really submissive, obedient and naive FL. So I haven't been able to find any that's similar. Since I don't know what kind of stories you like I'll just recommend ones that I like... If you haven't already, try and read all of Harui30 (Ruyi's author) stories. Especially Pick the Second Male Lead (PTSML). Read this first.. it is just amazing Then read the rest of her stories, they're all very very good. (You can find her stories in my reading list.. but you can also go to her page) -Rebirt as the General's Wife -Entangled with the Prince -Modernised Love -Conquering Villains and Capturing Targets is Harder in Real Life than in Games (You can find these in my reading lists) -Tea of Summer -Husband, Be a Gentleman -Ambiguous Relationship -Congfei Manual -Avoid the Protagonist! (this story hasn't finish translating) -To be a Virtuous Wife -The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage -A Slight Smile is Very Charming (You can find some of these in my reading lists or Wattpad itself. Or you can also go to Novel Updates website) And also all of the stories from my Short Stories list. Those stories are amazing, they're nice and short (that sometimes it leaves you feeling unsatisfied bcs you want more ). But some of those stories are really sad, tragic and bittersweet. Some are really nice and cute. So if you're not a fan of the tragic ones, let me know and I'll tell you which one of those are the sad ones. So you can read the cute ones instead (You can obviously find them from my list but you can also go to Novel Updates for it) Hahahha I've recommended more than a few but do tell me how you find those stories happy reading
