@c3Maryc3 Hooray! I certainly hope to hook readers from the start :-) I fail to write short stories...hehe. After Humanity was SUPPOSED to be a short story...it got much longer than that very quickly hehe. I admire the good short story. I just can't seem to pull them off. lol! The world and characters just take over and suddenly I have a full length novel on my hands whether I like it or not ;-)

@stpolishook It's a great story! I love the ones that hook you from the first page...After Humanity is definitely like that! I'm more of a 'short story with a twist' kind of writer....(or want to be writer, lol)

@Finnyh yes, I hope to get it posted soon! I'm excited/nervous about it too. I have two completed short horror stories also. I'm trying to work on more of those and post it as a collection with the title "What's the Worst that could Happen? And Other Stupid Questions)" Humorous title...definitely NOT funny stories! Wish me luck!

@foxncheese The horror and thriller genres here are packed with some serious talent. I hope one day to be up there with them! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed The Folveshch so much. That's such a compliment, so thank you! The story is going on three years old now, so it's definitely time for a new project. Funnily enough I'll be posting The Sinister Fate of Joseph Redding in only six days' time, which is yet another period horror. (I love the stuff!)

Fantasy can be a case of biting off more than one can chew (I definitely found this with my fantasy novel too!) but getting lost in another world and all the fascinating people you meet in it is so rewarding. I never once got bored with making it up as I went along. Especially when exercising the imagination in a totally new genre. Will you be posting that here sometime?
