i just finished reading serenading and let me tell you it is one the best fanfics i have read. it was so well written and felt like an actual book rather than a little story written by someone online (which it is) idk if that makes any sense… but anyways absolutely loved it and can’t wait to read the sequel when it is finished!!

Honestly though, this was so well written. I just finished bingeing the other book, and now I can't wait to see what's next.
You write the dialogue SO WELL— AND THE CHARACTERIZATION?? *chef's kiss*. The plot is suuuuper interesting, I'm hooked!
I love how the story evolved and how the characters developed— I just wanna see Y/N and Tommy happy together .
I really liked how you approached writing the story. The writing shows what the character feels instead of just flat out telling the readers. I also love how it's not really clear yet what Y/N's backstory is, but there's a lot of implication as to what happened and what her life outside of conversing with Tommy is like. Because of that, it's all the more engaging.
OH AND THE SHARED DREAM!!! THAT WAS SO COOL. Especially in Tommy's dream when he wasn't sure who the person leaving notes was, but when he say it was Y/N, he just instinctively went into lover boy mode and they just shifted into a very domestic dynamic.
The flow of this story is amazing. From the start, where they were strangers to each other, to where the story is now. It's not rushed, and that's one of the many great things about this fic. The reader and Tommy get to know each other, and though I guess it's quite fast how close they got, the way you wrote it didn't make it seem fast.
Like, they got close quick, but at the same time it makes sense because of how your characterized both Y/N and Tommy. Even with the time skips, it doesn't feel rushed because of how consistent the characters are. You've established what Y/N and Tommy are like with each other, and as individuals.
I love this story because everything I said is not something I see in a lot of stories. I'm not sure what kind not writer you are, if you plan your stories or you're just going with it, but either way, the way this story is written is something that takes a lot of creativity and you really have to have a solid idea of what the characters are like and how the story will flow. The story is consistent and the plot is really freaking good. And I'll say this again, the characterization is AMAZING
