Keep in mind that these type of messages can appear to you in ANY platform. Most common ones are Facebook and Instagram.
The thing starts when an unknown user sends you a message asking if you want to play a game. If you reply saying yes, he'll ask again if you are sure about it. Since once you are in, there's no escape from that.
Once you agree, that person will give you challenges each day. There are 50 challenges in total, in which you need to complete in those next 50 days.
The challenges will start as something little.
The first challenge will be drawing a whale in paper and then sending a picture to the person as proof that you did it.
The tasks continued as “Waking in the middle of the night.” , “Watching a scary film at 3 a.m” , “Face-Timing a member of the challenge” etc.
But as the days continued, the challenges became more sinister. Such as “Cutting your arm in the shape of a Whale” , “Standing on the ledge of a tower block”. And of course, each challenge you do, you need to send proof that you did it.
The last challenge is a demand of the user to jump from the highest floor of a building. That way, you kill yourself.
Even if you survive, you need to do the 50 challenges OVER and OVER until you die.

Even though the point of the challenge is to commit suicide, something suicidal people would do.. There were some people that didn't want to do it, and made a mistake into getting in the challenge.
As I said, once you are in, there's no escape. The user will start threating you, that if you don't do the challenge, they will hurt your whole family members. Telling you that they have your personal information, such as : Whole name, adress, family member's name, etc.
New info, DON'T BLOCK THEM! If you do, they'll easily track your information and IP adress. Just ignore them.

@Lemonxtea94 yeah, sadly a lot of young kids ( 8 y/o or older/younger ) are scared to death because of that :( Even their profile picture is so bloody/“scary”, I personally find it.. meh.. not scary at all but when my friend was blocking those accounts that post gore-fancams she was so scared, even the thumbnail of the videos might make you have a hard time trying to sleep ( if you get scared easily. ) So anyways I don’t know if it’s over but if you want I’ll send you the names to block them ( in insta ), also don’t let curiosity control you because one of my friends did that and now she regrets it so much. She deserves it anyways because We earned her for 3 days smh And if you use Twitter, turn off the auto play option.
And oh even if you didn’t look there is still sounds, so you might even get traumatised by the scary screaming so yeah.
@Lemonxtea94 Basically a girl who is a sadist thought of making an account ( I think her acc is @sugaclitz or smth ); She wanted to make people scared a/o cry, so she created something called ‘gore-fancam’, basically for the first 20-40 seconds it’ll be a normal fancam of an idol/celebrity dancing/singing, you know fancam things. WARNING: EXTREME SENSITIVE TOPIC But after 40 seconds it’ll suddenly switch to extreme NSFW things, a guy raping a girl or a person chopping someone’s neck off, or someone burning ALIVE. Or car accidents where someone suddenly fly away, hit a tree and then their brain fall. And children getting hanged. And other horrible stuff but these are the ones I find the least ‘not-triggering’. After a while she apologised and said that she is a sadist so she found it ‘fun’ to do that and traumatise other people. But guess what? It didn’t stop. other people started following her steps and it spread to other communities, even animal crossing not just celebrities. Just like the blue whale thingy. They have a weird symbol and they call themselves ‘slitz’ or ‘clitz’ And names similar to that.
