Steve is heartbroken and mad at himself so he calls the reader “luckily they have their phone on them” it takes awhile but the reader picks up. Steve immediately notices the pain in the reader’s voice  so Worryingly Steve asks the reader if their alright, the reader just sobs out “Steve please I need you”  so with that Steve takes his motorcycle and tracks the reader’s phone. Once Steve gets to the reader he sees how broken the reader is “both figuratively and literally”so Steve promises he’ll make it better and without a another word he zooms off to Avengers tower to get the reader poached up. A little while later The reader is unconscious in the med wing Steve never leaves their side, Steve is sobbing because he’s afraid he’ll lose the reader because of what he said once the reader wakes up Steve explains how much he loves the reader and how he didn’t have a clue about how the reader is treated, he promises to do anything to make it up to the reader. The reader tells Steve that they thought he would be better off dating someone who is normal, someone who doesn’t have the mental problems and doesn’t have to constantly live in fear. Steve is quick to reassure the reader with his kind words and a long passionate kiss to the lips. He tells the reader that he doesn’t want dull and normal he  wants the reader and the reader only. Sorry for the long request I couldn’t get this idea out of my head for the life of me. Thank you 

Can I get a request? it’s a Steve Rogers x gender fluid reader where the reader is hated by the media and public because in the words of the internet “Captain American is dating a freak”. Because of these hateful words the reader starts to think Steve would be better off without Them so they grow cold towards Steve in an attempt to push him away and because Steve doesn’t use the internet much he doesn’t see the hateful comments. So Steve’s natural response is to get angry at the reader eventually using the “You cheated on me” card. By this point the reader is so done with the augment and goes outside for a night time walk. The reader is followed by a homophobic person but because they are so in their head they don’t realize until it’s too late. The reader gets beaten into a bloody mess. Meanwhile Steve is getting scolded by the other Avengers eventually the Avengers show Steve the hateful comments that people leave,
