@nemophiIias ،̲،̲ a familiar, analytical look crosses her expression. taking every inch of kasen’s features, watching as its contort as mitsue enacts their final betrayal; yet another lie. what else would you expect from the god? however, the decision made amaya’s heart ache. although, amaya brings her fingernail to her mouth, teeth lightly gnawing at it in hopes to chip away [a habit so familiar with the now prior god of war]. brows furrow, knitting together, “even so, i should watch my tongue when speaking to someone (..) unfamiliar to me,” another lie. hues which reflect the sky, now shift to look into kasen’s gaze. a silent, momentary glance of admiration before it fell back into its typical cold; but distant look. words fell short on still lips, parting as she takes in a breath.
“i’ve been put into a marriage that i hadn’t desired. my parents, (..) they didn’t listen to me and agreed despite my disagreements.” a pause, teeth now biting the lower part of her lip. seemingly perplexed, maybe heartbroken. “still, i suppose that isn’t the only reason. i was hoping to receive some sort of resolution by seeking mercy, you see. (..) i find that someone like me lived far too long, exceeding even my own expectations.” a pause is taken, her eyes now glossy, head tilting down as her hair and the braids now dropping over her face to hide her expression. “i was hoping for some peace in my mind.” amaya let’s put a small sigh, now regaining a sense of control back to her own emotions. “it feels like everytime i think i’m free, i get pulled back, but that’s how fate has it for me it seems.”
