i've never written and published it before, but i own a lot of personal fanfiction that either ends up sitting in my notes, or is just random crumbled up papers sitting around my room. 
point is, im definitely still learning and i have no experience whatsoever sharing my fanfiction and if you'd like to send me any criticism that is absolutely okay with me! as long as you are a little nice about it lol
i usually don't plan out my fanfics. most of the time i get an idea in mind and execute it and however it ends up going, is how it goes lol.  of course i won't let it get messy and confusing, those ones get scrapped. but yeah, that's how i come up with things to write about.
