Occasionally, I still get messages questioning my “blackness” because of the way I write my characters. Though I’ve gotten better at deciding to ignore it, once in a while I can become frustrated. Because why does it matter whether I’m black or not? Black people come in many different colors, cultures, and characteristics. They don’t all act the same. I choose to write my characters with various personalities, that doesn’t make me any less black. And the fact that some people question it just says something about them. This is such a backwards way of thinking.

I’m not gonna lie, the support I get for my stories is sometimes a little surprising. Though I’ve been writing for over 10 years, it comforts me to know that people actually want to read what I create. The interest in my works motivates me to push forward. Thank you all for helping me reach my goal on Ko-Fi. I know updates haven’t been as steady as I would’ve liked, no thanks to my work schedule, but your constant support shows me that it’s worth it to continue. I read all your comments. I was just wondering — how old are Harper and Hyde? 

Don’t worry about the “updates” you see in Puron Psych. I’m making MINOR edits that don’t change the story. I’m only polishing up the mistakes both here and on Ko-Fi. 

I was trying to update last week but I got sick with a cold. It's winter break, so now I have a bit of time to update. Thanks for your patience!

Fun fact. In the Puron series, Hyde, Yanpu and Bomb are all Korean. Some of the names are secret alternatives to what the pronunciation of the actual names are.
          
          Lee Bomb = Lee Bom
          Yanpu = Lee An Bu 
          Hyde = Kdrama name
