@bookandhorsermylife Lol, thanks. It's kind of fun writing in 1st person present-tense. I think it works well for stories that are meant to be suspenseful and fast-paced. Just seems to give it that extra *umph* haha.
            
            The Hunger Games is 1st person present-tense too. I didn't notice until someone brought it up and I checked my copy of it and was like, "Oh, so it is." I didn't think I liked this POV, but I think it really just depends on the story. :)
