so for the past two? three? days, i’ve been basically binge-reading a plethora of books, most of them by @-romantically @seekabsolution @splattering @Birdcrowns @opticality @arabellamonroe 
          
          & like, okay.
          
          i adore reading, i truly do. & usually i just read for personal entertainment. but lately i’ve been reading so much because i’ve been working through some really bad thoughts & a rocky breakup. these books have helped me so much, i can’t even put into words how much they’ve improved my mood & made me fall into a world separate from reality (which i obviously haven’t been so keen on facing).
          
          MY POINT IS THOUGH: i’ve been DYING to write my own story, & seeing y’all’s aesthetics & brilliant writing just makes me want to write even more. but i dunno how to write as awesome as y’all... i have so many ideas & everything but, i also think i could improve my vocabulary along with some other things & i really have no clue where to start anyway?? 
          
          if any of you actually read this whole thing, thanks pft. i know that probably zero of the authors that i just tagged above won’t even glance at this, because y’know, life. but if any of y’all do... & if any of my followers have any advice on writing or creating aesthetics as well... please comment below. i’d appreciate it so much. thank you sweeties!

hey! i agree w din, literally just start writing, and keep writing! you dont have to post anything right away if you dont feel comfy, but dont ever stop. once you do, it can be hard to start up again. and dont get discouraged! we all have to start from somewhere. also, a thesaurus will become your best friend. i’d also not recommend going to peoples profiles and asking them to read ur story. it may seem tempting, but it can come off as rude sometimes and can be annoying. and for aesthetics—comb through pinterest and make boards for ur story/characters. use picsart to make the collage thing and download phonto. scroll through dafont.com to find a font u like and download it to phonto, then you can put the text on ur aesthetic (or u could put it on in picsart, but i dont think the fonts are as pretty) good luck! xx

Hello :) I don’t really have much advice except for the fact that in order to improve, you have to keep reading and writing. That’s basically it ahah, there’s no witchcraft in it. If you want to improve your vocabulary a thesaurus and a dictionary is your best friend. Keep on writing and you’ll improve as you go x
