A shark lover....? Do you know what to do if a shark gets curious about you? 
          
          1. Don't panic, thrash around or pee yourself
          
          2. Grab a piece of metal and when the shark comes in for a 'taste test' let it mouth the metal. 
          
           If you are into spearfishing, think of the tines of the spear. I guess you could try a selfie stick if that is all you've got. 
          
          They mouth it for a bit and get the idea that you are not food after all. 
          
          Every region has its hazards. Locals know how to handle them whether the issue is sharks, bears, or something else. Newer people or visitors can get freaked out.
