the ravenette's interest was piqued as he continued to follow the other.  once they had both stopped,  elijah crouched beside koushin and peeked under the umbrella that was settled to see the small kittens shivering inside the box,  causing a frown to form onto his face〝  they must be freezing ＂ he commented before choosing to scoop up two of the kittens in his arms in an effort to transfer some of his own warmth to them〝  when did you find them here﹖﹖ ＂

⠀⠀  ৎ ﹡    ៹⠀ @onmenu ꓹ⠀⠀"  you'll know when we get there,  we're close.  "⠀ after a few more moments,  they settle into an empty alley..  or was it?  the dampness of the ground coupled with the droplets of the rain was audible.  but not as much as there was a box by the ground where koushin settled the umbrella over,  looks like there were kittens there.  the poor little babies have been cold,  shivering weakly as they mewled endlessly.⠀ "  whoever did this is fucking sick..  don't worry,  little ones,  i got you.  "

〝  i never said anything about wanting to go back now did i﹖  i just want to know why is all ＂

a small hum could be heard from elijah before he idly rests his head on top of koushin's from behind〝  anywhere that has a nice view of the sunset i guess.  always liked watching them but never had the chance to since i started helping around the restaurant ＂

〝  if i'm being honest,  not really-  but i don't mind being your model.  didn't really have much to do for today surprisingly.  so i got a lot of time to spare  ＂

the ravenette's shoulders only shrugged at hearing koushin's response.  he later pointed towards the tray of cookies and brownies,  those seeming to be what he had made himself by the looks of the ingredients that had yet to be put away〝  give me your honest thoughts.  i personally think i did pretty good for my first try.  but you'll be the first to judge ＂

⠀⠀  ৎ ﹡    ៹⠀ @onmenu ꓹ⠀⠀"  they would've texted me,  i doubt it.  "⠀ he slips his phone back to his pocket with a sigh,  not like he had anything to do afterwards.⠀ "  food?  "⠀ as if his annoyance had dissipated,  the look of initial surprise had softened him up.⠀ "  sure.  "

〝  maybe something came up on their end so they had to leave﹖  just a guess ＂ commented elijah as he motioned for the other to come inside the cooking club's room from where he stood at one of the work tables〝  also tried baking for a change by the way.  you want to try it﹖  ＂

〝  huh,  i never really thought of it in that way ＂ he said moreso to himself out loud,  a hand reaching to rake through his cut hair,  specifically around the nape of where his hair was now shortened in length〝  i'm guessing you've had your hair cut for that exact reason﹖ ＂

⠀⠀  ৎ ﹡    ៹⠀ @onmenu ꓹ⠀⠀"  fuck—  no?  "⠀ scoffed koushin,  an idle shake to his head.⠀ "  it's just..   you know what they say.  about our hair holding memories.   but if you like to get rid of it,  go ahead.  "

〝  it's definitely something by the looks of it.  what,  you getting all shy now﹖ ＂

elijah couldn't help but let out a chuckle at hearing koushin's denial,  his eyes also rolling in the process〝  keep telling yourself that ＂ he lightheartedly replied with as he made the finishing touches the sandwich before walking back over to where the other was with the plate of food in hand〝  here's your food for when you're done taking the photos ＂ the plate was then set beside the photographer before he took a seat himself

"⠀ murmured koushin,  in denial.  of course he's taken a few snacks here and there...  maybe getting caught was just embarrassing.   while the other began to make a sandwich,   kou decided it's best to take the pictures now.   after all,   he'd much prefer it if he were alone around the area—–   makes it more easier.

〝  i know you've grabbed some food to snack on before when i wasn't looking.  i'm just saying ＂ came his response from the kitchen as he got to work on making the other a simple sandwich to eat〝  i'll be done in a few minutes.  so be patient ＂
