ITACHI ZAMETORA’S JOURNAL - ENTRY # 1
Princess Saikou hasn’t written to me in years.
I have come to peace with the fact that our paths took us in different directions, different worlds entirely. While her and the other princesses manage the rise of the sun and moon, health and friendship in a world that needs them, I have become the Princess of Love that humans have no use for. I play a role that I made necessarry, that, if not for me, would have never existed.
And I have accepted the fact that we will never meet again. She has, too.
Yet, Gurinishi-san of Equestria stumbled through the portal a few days ago.
I had no news of this immediately; I study at a college far away from Buraza Town now, in Kyoto. It was my sister Ikuko, a current student at Akademi, that alerted me of her arrival.
She looks dead. Her curly, puffy hair is greasy and straight. Its length of several feet has been limited to barely one. Her feet have blisters, many wounds cover her body. The dark circles under her eyes are a literal otherworldly sight. And her eyes themselves lack her characteristic light.
She coughs and out come spores and leaves. She says she ran through the Everfree Forest, which I am tempted to believe, but I have never seen such leaves in the Forest. Her clothes are torn and she cannot walk, although she has confessed she’s visited the human world many times before.
She says Equestria is under attack, an inside force has started to take them down one by one.
Princess Saikou’s letters haven’t stopped by a coincidence. She was the first to be claimed.
