Dude I just recently found out there was 2 other books to follow The Year We Had. When I first read it, it felt like the ending was a fever dream but there was no sequel at the time

its been more than 3 years now since i first read the year we had and after this the sequels (even tho i doubt it will ever be finished haha hones its still perfect this way) and its still probably one of the best pieces of literature that has ever been created. I do not support the things that some of the people that the characters are based on did but the story itself is still so amazing! For the past three years ive been trying to find books with this exact vibe and kind of story but nothing has been able to get to me as much as those fanfics did! idk if you will ever see this dear author but big thank you for making this masterpiece of a story

i read this a long long time ago, and it’s 2024 now. I’m not a book reader i hate books, but this stayed with me, i don’t like mcyt now, but this and the sequel and threequel will always be the best piece of literature i’ve ever read. tysm for making this, it was a core part of my 2021 phase.

will it be more to the 3 book or are you leaving it like is right now and loved the books so far keep it going if you can :)

Hey canwejustpretend I want to make a story inspired by your "what a year we had" DSMP fanfic. It will not have the same ending or begin and I will give you credit. I just created it. The first part will not be punished until I get confirmation I can post it. The thing that will be the same is that Phil will still be in the FBI. It will maybe have a kidnapped chapter or two but honestly I was writing the first part and was like "I'm pretty sure I'm just stealing their idea" sooo yea. Also It ain't gonna go into a zombie apocalypse like yours! Just wanted confirmation I can tho thx
