Carol Pack’s imagination has been running amok since she started her first novel in the third grade. It was right after she learned the sun rises in the east, which inspired her to use that bit of information as her first line. Unfortunately (or fortunately) she never completed that first writing attempt, but it didn’t stop her from imagining all kinds of wonderful stories.
Carol put her desire to be an author on the back burner until she wrote "Code Name: Evangeline." No one was more surprised than she, that she actually finished a full-length novel. Her aspirations for a major writing award were dashed, however, when a friend said, “I’ve got to give you credit for at least finishing an entire book,” a euphemism for “this sucks.” But the plucky godmother of news reporters everywhere, did not put away her pen; instead she opened her wallet and started taking classes and attending writer’s conferences. She rubbed elbows with some of the greats (at least the one’s who are still alive) and honed her craft. She immediately began work on another novel, "Evangeline’s Ghost" which will be released in July 2013. Carol is currently putting the finishing touches on "The Chronicles of the Library of Illumination and will soon begin work "Evangeline’s Ghost – Houdini." She was born in New York City, resides on Long Island with her husband, and currently lives inside her imagination, trying to weave wisps of ideas into a solid piece of cloth.
