/ my interpretation of captain mactavish compared to the other soap anon i have is that THIS version of john mactavish is a lot more serious , often smokes cigars like his version of price did .  he feels the need to fit the said man’s role (especially after price was gone for like what ?  4 or 5 years in the gulag) and considering in the og captain mactavish is the one who made task 141 instead of price , THIS version doesn’t crack jokes or takes breaks often .  the poor man is stressed 24/7 .

/ adding on to this..  the fact he smokes cigars and not cigarette says a lot about his character to , how much og price influenced him .  captain mactavish trying to be him in a way , maybe not entirely replacing him but feeling the need to take up that role especially while price was gone .  feels the need to prove his worth in a twisted way .  his adoration and admiration towards price changed him , some for better and some for worse .  feels the need to push his limits , can’t let himself slip through the cracks .

/ captain mactavish doesn’t open about his feelings , often keeps them locked up .  even to people he admires so much , price included .  can’t stand getting emotional , HATES how the tears burn his eyes .

          Joseph quickly turned around to face the female , those vibrant yet old looking eyes quickly shifted onto her as he was currently on a trip with his own grandson and some others he knew . “ Hm ? ” He hummed , holding his hat to keep in on his head as the old man blinked wondering what this strange female . “ Do you need something ” That voice sounded familiar to some if they knew the British-American did travel quite a lot especially since this was very important after all .. he saved the world once before though not many people unfortunately know about that whole thing but the people who knew him when he was younger know the whole story of his more younger days .
