@caralogue I'm always interested in knowing more about the process behind any form of art. There have been times when I've mailed certain authors only to ask why a certain character behaved the way they did or why the author chose to make the plot move in a certain direction. I sometimes even ask hypothetical questions like ‘oh, if x character had made a different choice, would x have found happiness?’ or ‘if y character had not died, how would the ending of the story changed?’
I enjoy doing this, never mind the fact that it probably inconveniences authors when I ask for extra bts of their works XD
I love watching ‘making of’ videos of movies, listening to authors speak of their writing process & planning for their books and watching videos of choreographers explain the idea behind their choreographies. Maybe you could make a compilation like Stars Aligned, where you explain your process for each book you've written. Obviously each book's behind-the-scenes will be spread over multiple chapters, so it'll become an anthology of sorts.
For AMAs you could make anonymous Google forms where people can ask questions to whichever character they like. Like the one you make for your year-end caraland awards. You could then answer those questions and publish them, character-wise. Bcuz it's anonymous, I'm guessing more people will be willing to participate.
Yeah, we're spoilt, but I'm never one to back down from asking for more :p
The worst you can say is no, so I'm gonna shoot my shot anyway!
Yup, salt water and raspberry ripple are currently in my tbr. Looking to read them soon. You'll obviously see me in the comment section when I finally come around.
