hello! i know that there has not been any new stories on this account for over a year but i’ve been constantly writing for those who don’t know. it’s on my other account @caralogue
i just marked a full-length novel called salt water complete, including the epilogue. it’s the second part in the aftertaste duology which is set in a indian mafia/hitmen agency setting but i assure you, it’s nothing like you’ve read before!

if anyone’s interested, do check it out:

Hiii i saw The Rawat Brides in your tbr, are you going to read it? i love that book

Drekin

@caramelstreet BTW, I really loved the Vishal and Layla duology T-T it’s such a sweet story.

And TRB does feel a bit slow at the beginning, especially during the village camp arc, but it picks up and gets really engaging later on. I might be a little biased since it’s my favourite book on Wattpad :) it genuinely made me feel so many things.

@Drekin hi, i gave it a shot once but i felt it difficult to get into so i put it off for later. unfortunately, i haven’t found the time to give it another chance.

          favourite series:
the glitter season collective (closely followed by the aftertaste duology)

          notes from the mailbox:

          - y’all wishing i find my man soon lmao. thank you so much anyway. i hope the same too :)
          - someone mentioned my substack which made me so so happy
          - someone said they find my instagram channel so fun thank you so much! i try.
          - this one made me burst out laughing: i was asked to write a mxm romance (a love story between two guys in raju anna’s gang) wild! you guys are crazy and that’s why i love you all (maybe i will write it, who knows)
          - two of you asked why i didn’t include for the love of god. good question. since the competition is intense here, i didn’t want to see tyhi and celena with no one voting for them. FTLOG is a story i’m most proud of because it was a challenge to write it and i like to gatekeep it? it’s the one story that finds it’s own readers with zero promotion
          - ‘can we get more college romances?’ — i like to explore other tropes but sure, maybe.
          - ‘jasper is criminally underrated’ - yes, thank you. he is the epitome of patience and loyalty.
          - someone’s been campaigning for me to write an arranged marriage every chance they get — i’ll try
          - ‘my boy oviyan wasn’t mentioned here’ — i’m sorry. he’s a part of the short story anthology and it didn’t even occur to me. maybe i should have
          - thank you for all the lovely messages and the response, it was quite a number! i’m glad you decided to participate in this silly little tradition. thank you for all your support this year and merry christmas <3

hello @caramelstreet! im an avid reader from north america and two tickets, please was just amazing!! the characters, the setting, the mood, it was so much better than any contemporary romance movie or any media representation ive seen that’s tamil recently. it made me think about how much i want to write my own little romance as well! and i really wish you the best for your future endeavours!!! - peacee

mitakascist

@caramelstreet exactly!! soft romance in tamil is so scarce T-T there’s cute songs about it but the stories fail to capture the characters and settings! T-T also, thank you so much for taking the time to respond!! and thanks for the encouragement!!! merry Christmas <333

@mitakascist heyy! thank you so much for reading two tickets, please. i wrote TTP because i couldn’t find tamil rep in movies the way i wanted - soft, slice-of-life but new adult, and reading your message has proved it has served its purpose not only for me but for you as well. this makes me so happy. and yes ofc, please do write that romance that’s piecing itself in your head, it’s so fun and it’ll be worth it! good luck to you too and an early merry christmas <3
