Texas restricted abortion to 6 weeks (the heartbeat law I believe it was called) before Roe v. Wade was overturned. That basically made it virtually impossible for any woman to get an abortion.
That went on for, perhaps 280 days or so? Not a single woman died throughout that time due to that restriction.
Abortion is a terrible procedure that kills the baby, but also harms the mother. They have to deal with impacted health for at least a while, and may suffer long-term health effects from it.
Having a child is less detrimental to their health than abortion. And if the life of either is in danger upon pregnancy, then perhaps an abortion should be considered to save the mother's life. Other than that, it's not really necessary for any reason.
Besides, moving the issue back to the states doesn't make it impossible for people to have abortions. It just restricts their ability in some places. And it wasn't the right of the Supreme Court to regulate abortion rights across the country in the first place; that's why it was overturned.
