          Oh, that means that's he's her familiar. ;) Reid'll learn that familiars will always protect their witches because he'll automatically risk his own life to save Rune's even if he doesn't want to.

          Eh, I couldn't stand writing from his POV for more than a few chapters at a time. It's much too depressing. I've been just as depressed as him before, so it was difficult writing this chapter and going back to that dark place myself. I'm going to switch back to Annie's POV in a few chapters, and then it'll go back and forth between them for the rest of the story. (At least, that's the plan as of right now.)

So I just want to say thanks for your comment on my Advice thing. I think you're right in that I shouldn't rush. I don't want to screw up the friend ships I have going now. I do agree that I need some time to myself before I enter another relationship :)

Thanks for the comment! Oh, gosh, I think all writers are sadistic romantics. xD I know I torture my characters in such inhumane ways, I feel i should be on America's Most Wanted. Seriously, in TGL, Cleon ends up dying more times than is necessary, but it's just fun to throw him to the dogs and watch him get out of it. xD I think I'm meanest to the characters I love the most. Then they really get the chance to prove their stuff.
