The 2014 summer writing project with ninjacat1910 has started! (I know I'm late, this was supposed to go out on July 27th, but it's better late than never.) Last summer's project was to write a zombie outbreak survival guide. Both of these stories are now finished! The prompt for this summer is to write a story based on a song. Ninjacat1910's story is called "Angels and Demons" and mine is "Creatures of Mud and Snow". I hope you enjoy the end result!

Hey Carmel, I really didn't mean to be so harsh on the first two chapters of your story. I remember getting my first honest feedback a few years back and even though the feedback was helpful and wanted, it made me feel like absolute crap as a writer for a while. 
          I hope you don't feel like this. I honestly do like your writing, otherwise I wouldn't have been invested enough to be so damn nit-picky. I think I laid too much on you too fast. No sane human could take that amount of feedback at once. 
          So if you feel bad, I'm really sorry but just know that it will pass if you let it, and don't don't DON'T give up on your writing! Everyone tells you you need a thick skin but that's easier said than done, I know. 
          Also, good luck with the talent show tomorrow (if you happen to see this tonight). I hope I can go and see you all. You're going to be epic :D
