I am a French girl and I have never been good at learning new languages. I will certainly make some grammar mistakes...

Unlike most of people here (I think), I do prefer when the story is told from one character's perspective only. For me, it is necessary to maintain a part of mystery. If we want to know the inside of another character, we can use verbal or corporal expression to convey its feelings. Furthermore, I want to feel the intensity of the story and for that I need to identify myself to one character (that is probably why I want for this one to be the "uke"). But with multiple pov, I find it so frustrating.

As you can see, by browsing my reading list, I prefer to read boyxboy stories. I think I can not bear a girl as the MC, even as a side character. The way they are often portrayed, it really annoys me (loud, talkative, and mannered).

Furthermore, I really like the balance of power between two male. I tend to favour the archetypal pattern we find in yaoi (my first readings) because I clearly prefer when the role (sexual) is not questioned. However I don't like when the "uke" take over the role of a girl in all its aspects.

I fancy dark romance. I don't like when everything goes fine, particularly in a couple. For me the best enemy for two lovers is the couple himself. I'm not searching for a realistic story but for something coherent and well developed (particularly the relationships between the MCs). That is why the more words, the better.

I want to precise that, apart from "Carmeno9 reading" and "My favourites M/M" lists, I did not red all the stories I've put in my other lists. It is just classified.

I tend to post so little reviews. It's because I have some difficulties to write while I am reading. And when I'm finished, I have so much to say but I can not get the courage to write my whole feedback in English.

To finish, I don't fancy the stories which are derived from other fiction or celebrities. I find it weird...
