- ⿻✚ he devours the hearts of those he’s made fall madly in love with him during sex, most specifically during orgasm; the hearts are soaked and saturated in raw fervor and deep affection with the zest of fear that adds a kick to the organ for reasons being 1) most full of emotion and 2)the tastiest at this time and 3)he gains much more power seeing that both fear and love are the most powerful emotions of man; the latter being the frequent he more than often preys on. He draws power from the person’s peak emotions when consumed at or after this time (he’ll save them to eat later sometimes). he’ll often completely drain the corpse of blood and lick the bleeding ichor from his lover’s bones even and rid the bodies by full consumption; he may, this not being a rare occurrence, even gnaw the bone to it’s marrow—it’s center a sweet delicacy. if he actually cared for the person (which he would die before admitting being in complete emotional denial when he cares for someone) he’ll preserve their heart and keep in a case of glass in a room off limits to everyone but him; if you listen quietly you can hear the sobs of these people; full of sadness and rage they know they’re trapped, never to move on to the afterlife—these hauntingly beautiful cries are most prominent and much more audible during witching hour; in this room he also decorates it with the bones of his victims. but if valentine LOVED someone (which he NEVER would in a million years ever admit), he’ll only just break their heart and let them go alive opposed to the gruesome alternative; breaking their heart he still absorbs some of their deep sadness, but it’s nothing like consumption—that’s far superior and much more preferred by him, but if he can’t bring it in him to kill this person, he won’t, thus, he’d only mercifully break their heart setting them free.
