So 2024 is coming to an end, damn it's been a hell of a year. I rode 1800 miles in a semi to pick up a carnival ride, about lost my hand, had my first kiss with a man, fell head over heels and got engaged to said man, about got groomed, escaped the carnival and my family, moved in with my fiancé, had a pregnancy scare, and started my journey to have my ged. Why does everyone say someone gets jealous when another person flirts with the person their dating? Jealousy is wanting something that doesn't belong to you, the word you are looking for is territorial which means defending what is yours. I'm not saying you own the person you're in a relationship with at all but if someone flirts with the person you are dating and it upsets you, you are more than likely being territorial. A couple of things to help with it is talk to your partner and explain your feelings and my personal favorite if you're out in public with them just give your partner a kiss or a smack on the ass depending on what they're more comfortable with!! Always communicate though! I cannot stress that enough

@carniebratjas1 Right darling , There's healthy jealousy and there's also toxic jealousy... simply its in human nature that cares and love if you do that its precisely that you'll get teritorial and feel jealusy about simple life things that matters for you both , thats an healthy understanding , toxic jealousy comes from exactly that not being confiden in urself ...and it can grow in something awful... i agree people are terible , and most of them dont care if someone is in relationship then again we can learn alot about one person on the way he/she act , their actions speaks more than some words~

@blACK-mooN_4 I'm not saying that you shouldn't care if someone flirts with your partner I'm saying that jealousy comes from not being confident in yourself. I say be territorial, be confident in yourself but also not trust others because there are people out there that don't care if someone is in a relationship. I will absolutely get territorial over my man but not because I think he'd leave for better but because people are terrible
