Hey, fellow #ONC2025 writers. If you're struggling with a cover for your entry, I'd be very happy to help. (I love designing covers.) No charge; I just want to give back to the community.

Good luck, all. (I've lost my #@*&! mind and have three entries...)

THis is nuts. But if I have three ONC projects, maybe I'll get one of them to the finish line. I hadn't planned on this, but I woke at 5 a.m. thinking about my time at art school in the 80s, and I got really nostalgic. It was such an amazing, ELECTRIC time. And then I started making notes. And then this happened. (And now I have gone down a rabbit hole watching old Bowie music videos).

Chapter 4 of SPARK is up.

"The fob is black, with a tiny gold butterfly in its centre. I wonder if Gavin chose it from a box of random stuff in his office or if it actually belonged to my aunt. Somehow, she never struck me as the sort of person who would have a golden butterfly on a key fob- Tartan, perhaps, or plain navy blue, but not a whimsical insect."

This is what happens when you wake up at 5 a.m. and the snow is so deep outside that you know you're staying inside all day. You write another chapter of your #ONC2025 entry.

Here's chapter 3 of When Crows Paint the Sky. Natalie means Quentin, her travelling companion, who has a Cockney accent and can apparently read her mind. Oh, did I mention he is also a crow?
