i’m doing my first 5k today, i’m a little nervous but the money goes towards a scholarship at a local college in memory of my aunt and another first responder. plus i convinced my friend to do it with me so i don’t have to suffer walking in the cold alone
i bailed after a mile cause i went up a really steep hill and my heart rate went to almost 200 but my friend finished the whole thing
guys, i’m trying to start a club at school. wish me luck, i don’t have a teacher sponsor or a budget yet but im asking teachers tomorrow and talking to someone about what to buy and my budget
soooo i got a laptop for christmas, yay! i can write easier (writing on an ipad is hard imo) but i have some parental settings (only if i download stuff im pretty sure) on it and a lot of rules around it so im scared to use it cause idk what could get me in trouble but i doubt my parents would look at my search history, maybe???? idk. this is me saying maybe ill be starting to write and put stuff on here but maybe not

i had lunch with my cousin today and we had the best conversations and now i know for sure i wanna move to europe. she said she’s glad she doesn’t live in the US anymore cause the current political state and said the next four years are gonna be hard cause trump
@clementqne i have like 3 months until i can get my permit. and i have a laptop now but if i even hesitate to et my parents look at it then i could get it taken for a few days so when i can drive ill probably still have no freedom. also the stuff about trump wanting to buy greenland then denmark making jokes about buying the us or something, like PLEASE. PLEASE DENMARK BUY THE US AND MAKE THIS A GOOD PLACE
@cars_chaos i thought that too, but sadly i think it starts next year? kevin stitt is another level of idiot up there with trump. but exactly!! tbh i doubt trump even knows christmas has pagan roots LOL hes so dumb. but im also so scared and mad and i’m sorry you dont have any freedom, i hope you cn get your license soon bc having it truly is freeing
@clementqne they cant possibly be allowed to start teaching the bible. isn’t separation of church and state in the constitution??? and if trump really wants to make america a christian country or wtv then he should get rid of all the holidays with pagan roots, for example christmas. i’m just so scared and mad tbh and i don’t have any sort of freedom until i get my license
what do i do if i have to go to church but don’t believe anymore and they do communion?? like idk if i should take it or not and im scared to ask my parents
@ameliasrobin why does no one talk about these things, like it should be common knowledge but no. they luckily didn’t do communion yesterday so yay, but i hated every second of it and it’s already blocked out of my memory
@cars_chaos technically, communion just means 'to give thanks,' so you can still take it and not believe, imo. you can give thanks for something else other than the blood and body of Christ :)
guys. how do i stay clean and keep a good relationship with food when it feels like the world is actively working against me? like seriously, im gonna lose my mind soon

there is something to dystopian feeling about riding past a giant factory that has a bunch of steam coming out of it while listening to respite on the spitalfields by ghost (PMEASE LISTEN, I LOVE GHOST). i just felt weird for some reason
got my wisdom teeth out friday. i was not expecting how much pain it was gonna be after the numbness wore off. on top of being in pain and always tired i have schoolwork i need to make up so yay me
