what to read first on my account:
it's been a very long year (i almost thought it had been 2), and i've published 6 collections in that time which are all pretty different, so here's it ordered by aesthetic:
1. dry flower eyes / flowers pt ii
supposedly my peak & most popular collection. soft grunge, flowers, sad romance. pt ii is kinda out there, way messier so you are warned.
2. after this life / a million pretties
basically part 1 & part 2 of "a million pretties," which is older but i still like the aesthetic. nights, stars, and ghosts.
3. LOVERS POINT
kind of a personal favorite bc it's the bright California one--the in-love one and probably the most personal. blends into "after this life" a bit.
4. midwest gardening project
only 3 poems. a bit of a bridge between "dry flower eyes" and "LOVERS POINT".
this is also the chronological order, which might be better if anyone cares:
1. a million pretties (Nov20)
2. dry flower eyes (Mar21)
3. after this life (May21)
4. LOVERS POINT (Jul-Aug21)
5. midwest gardening project (Sep21)
6. flowers pt ii (Nov21)
i'm posting this bc i realized it might be confusing if you're looking at my account--plus, there are a lot of poets on here i like a lot who have many collections but ppl only read one or two that have the most hits, so hopefully you'll check more of them out!
i'm not rlly sure what to do next with my account bc i'm thinking it's time to move past the poetry-collection-every-few-months format. i've been thinking of writing some prose and maybe making a new account so i don't spoil this one--but there might be some room in between. or my life might change around and return to something better than what i've done so far. anyways, happy new year <3
