@cascadingpearl - Hey author! I just finished reading The White Dove and I genuinely love it already. First of all, the title is incredibly eye catching. It immediately pulls you in and feels so poetic and mysterious at the same time. Also, River Jude Darling is such a beautiful and unique name for a female OC. I do not think I have ever come across a name quite like that before, and it fits her perfectly. One thing I noticed right away is how every chapter seems to include a quote or something poetic woven into it. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I absolutely love that detail because it gives the story this haunting and emotional atmosphere. The playlist was also such a nice touch. It makes the reading experience feel even more immersive and interactive. I really love the way you connected Thomas and River from the very beginning, especially through his dreams. It already feels like she has become something deeply rooted inside him before they have even truly collided. You can already feel the yearning Thomas has for her, and honestly, I just know that feeling is going to get even stronger as the story continues. Another thing I have to praise is your writing style. The level of detail you put into even the simplest things is amazing. It never feels overwhelming either. Instead, it makes the world feel richer and more alive. I also genuinely appreciate how much your writing expands my vocabulary because of the words and descriptions you incorporate naturally into the story. I am really curious to see how River and Grace will interact with each other. Will they get along? Will there be tension? Also, the tension between Grace and Charles definitely did not go unnoticed. I am seated for whatever is happening there. I also really want to learn more about River’s background. What happened to her family? Where did she come from? What shaped her into the person she is now? There is so much mystery surrounding her, and it makes her even more interesting.

@cascadingpearl - Also, apologies if I forgot to mention this earlier, but the cover you created for the story is really good, well at least to me. The more I looked at it, the more details I started noticing. I am guessing Thomas represents the raven while River represents the dove, which honestly makes so much sense symbolically. A raven and a dove are complete opposites in a way, yet they still connect so perfectly to their characters and the atmosphere of the story. And the horses immediately made me think of Thomas too since we all know how much he loves them. I genuinely love when covers have hidden meanings and symbolism woven into them because it makes the story feel even more thought out and intentional. I also really love the gifs and pictures you include at the beginning of each chapter. They honestly help set the mood so well before the chapter even starts. It makes the story feel even more cinematic and immersive, especially with the vibe and aesthetic you are going for. I genuinely look forward to seeing them because they match the atmosphere of the story perfectly.

@cascadingpearl - I also wanted to ask if you have plans to continue through all the seasons, maybe even include the movie eventually? Speaking of the movie, have you watched it yet? If so, what did you think of it? No matter what direction you decide to take this story in, I already know it is going to be amazing. I seriously cannot wait for more chapters and to see how everything unfolds. Also, I NEED to talk about this part because wow: “She’s the only heavenly thing he’s ever believed in. The only creature in his merciless, cruel land who could kill him with the purity of her sins. And at times, in his loveliest dreams, she does.” That line genuinely stuck with me. The contrast between “purity” and “sins” is so beautiful and tragic at the same time, and it perfectly captures the way Thomas seems to view River almost like something divine yet dangerous. The wording feels so poetic and intimate, especially “she’s the only heavenly thing he’s ever believed in.” That alone says so much about Tommy as a character and how deeply she affects him. Honestly, the entire introduction gave me chills. “River Jude Darling was his sacred symphony...” ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? That line was absolutely gorgeous. The whole introduction reads like a dark love poem. It feels haunting, romantic, and melancholic all at once. You truly have a gift for writing descriptions and emotions in a way that lingers in the reader’s mind even after finishing the chapter. I seriously cannot wait to read more. You are doing an incredible job already!
