Please write a new Dawsey story! I want Severide to protect Gabby from Casey's flawed mindset of not wanting to converse over any issues on an emotional level and his need to blame gabby for their divorce. Gabby should be single in front of Casey after the she comes back to Chicago. I want them to confront all of their issues, fears, and confessions of their feelings and thoughts. Hopefully, 51 can fix their relationships with Gabby because they should feel bad for not treating her like the family they said they were. In the show, I feel like Casey only wants her when she's in Chicago and when she was in Puerto Rico he felt like it was pointless to fight for who he supposedly deemed the love of his life. I want to see a more playful, seductive, confident, bold/daring, carefree, sassy, feisty, independent, blunt, sarcastic, badass, passionate, empathetic, and more open with emotions Gabby and how different male interactions reveal how she has grown and embraced herself and learned from her mistakes in her past marriage and relationships. Casey should really be more decisive when it comes to knowing what he wants and treating Gabby as his first and only choice and fighting hard to earn her trust and be there for her after breaking up with Brett. Imagine if a person kissed her passionately in Molly's in front of everyone and Gabby was left in shock and Casey would be fuming but, they actually end up as friends. I think she should have various dating and intimate experiences because she should be allowed just like how Casey was before the divorce was finalized and his apartment burned down. While, they are friends let their foundation grow stronger than before with better communication and trust. Dawsey should’ve had children and a wedding that is not in a courthouse. A big house with a white-picket-fence after they have honeymoon because they deserve to be happy and for their love to be consistent.
