I'm sorry, it's a shame you're being told what to do with YOUR life. I don't find it fair when parents do that. Yes, they want the best for you but it should ultimately be your decision because you're going to be the one working, not them.

Go for it! I start classes in a few weeks and I'm so excited to finally be able to study it.
            
            P.S.- you are so awesome with your comments, you have motivated me to try and write for the sequel. I have no clue how I want to start it but I'm going to force myself to at least start it RIGHT NOW lol <3

First off, I HAVE AN IDEA FOR THE SEQUEL OF A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME!!!!
          
          Second, APLFM is now called Calypso's Quest.
          
          The sequel is most likely going to be titled Calypso's Curse. I had changed the first book's name to sort of tie them together. The sequel will NOT be Brandy's story like the first one. This book will revolve around their daughter, Carmen. You could call it a sequel or spin-off, whichever you prefer.
