a little infodump for you: when i was a kid, my dad made a deal with my siblings and i that if we had all a’s on our report card by the time may 4th came around, we could stay home and watch all six star wars movies. now whenever may 4th comes around, i try to watch at least two of the movies to carry on this tradition, but i don’t care if i have all a’s or not anymore lmao. but this part of my life reminds me how star wars is a love story, and these may the 4th memories with my family are filled with so much love. this is kind of sappy lol

@caseyinthealps - Hey author! I just finished reading TRUST and I honestly loved it so much. From the very beginning, I could tell how much thought you put into the story and the characters. I especially love the aesthetics you gave Thomas and Eliana because they fit both of them perfectly and made it so easy to picture them while reading. Everything about them feels so intentional and well thought out. I also wanted to talk about Eliana for a second because I absolutely love that you chose Rachel Zegler as her face claim. I recognized her from a few movies, but I had no idea she could sing too. She fits Eliana so well, and speaking of that, Eliana is such a beautiful and unique name. I really liked the meaning and background behind her name and how it connects Thomas and Eliana together. That detail added so much depth and made their connection feel even more meaningful. One of my favorite things about this story is the family dynamics. Eliana’s relationship with her mother and Mateo feels so natural and entertaining. I could not stop laughing at the scenes where Mateo keeps smoking in the house and their mother smacks him in the head with a newspaper. Those little moments make the family feel real and alive. I also love how close their family is with the Shelbys and how they’ve known each other since they were little. It makes every interaction feel layered because there’s already so much history between them. And can we talk about the tension between Thomas and Eliana? Because wow. The quiet tension building between them is seriously something else. I keep wondering if Eliana genuinely does not notice the way Thomas acts around her, or if she notices but brushes it off because she does not think too deeply about it. It honestly makes me wonder if anyone else has noticed the tension between them and just has not commented on it yet.

@caseyinthealps - Also I forgot to mention how much I love that the Shelby family keeps calling her “love” or “my love” all the time, and Mateo keeps having to correct them. It is honestly so funny to read, especially when he starts getting a bit frustrated about it. It adds such a nice touch of humor and shows their dynamic in a really natural way.

@caseyinthealps - I’m also really excited to see how Eliana and Grace’s relationship develops over time. And honestly, the dynamic between Eliana, Mateo, John, and Arthur is one of the funniest parts of the story to me, especially when they’re drunk together. The scene where Eliana went out for the first time after months of hard work, got completely drunk, and somehow ended up sitting underneath the table while Mateo, John, and Arthur tried convincing her to come out had me laughing so hard. Moments like that make the characters feel so lovable. Another thing I really appreciated were the little introduction lines you gave the characters. It is such a small detail, but it adds so much personality and depth to everyone in the story. Also, I have to say this story came at the perfect time for me because I’ve been completely fixated on Peaky Blinders lately. After watching the series and new movie I became obsessed, so finding this story made me even more excited to keep reading. I also saw that you mentioned only doing the first season, which is completely understandable. Even so, I genuinely think this story is going to turn out amazing no matter what direction you take it in. Your writing already has so much heart and atmosphere to it, and I can tell how much effort you put into creating these characters and relationships. I cannot wait for future updates. I completely understand that balancing multiple jobs, internships, and writing must take a lot of time and energy, but your readers will definitely be waiting patiently because this story is worth it. Thank you for sharing your work on Wattpad and giving readers the chance to experience something this enjoyable. I’m really excited to keep following Eliana’s story!
