Cassio was born in Portugal in 1990. He grew up on a steady diet of Jules Verne and Agatha Christie.

During the COVID pandemic, the author went on a sci-fi and litrpg reading spree that caused something strange and wonderful to happen in his mind. An alien idea formed. 'What if I wrote my own novel?'

In 2023, the author released his debut novel, 'Ignis', a story about eating alien metal, shooting fire off one's hands, and playing video games and an alien form of chess.

Cássio speaks eight languages and teaches four of them. He jogs, plays with his cat, Oli, and goes on walks with his beautiful wife, Ariana.

He is currently working on a new steampunk novel that tells the tale of how a gangster C'thulu-like alien tries to control the world.
