Dear people that care to listen, my name is Catherine.  And I am a writer. 

      I write with the hope of making others feel better when I feel absolutely useless.  I write with the hope of changing someone else's life. 

      I write because it is my passion, and it is the only way to get the voices to stop talking. 

     Isn't that why most of us are here on this site?

       We hope to change someone's life, we hope to find ourselves, and of course, lose ourselves within the poetic words that belong to all of our favorite stories. 

      I really can't think of a better way to escape than a Green Day song and a cheesy romance novel. 

      Now, whether the words I am writing on this computer screen mean nothing to you, or mean everything to you, I hope I can at least be some sort of distraction. 

     That's if you let me be.  I ask you all now, stay by my side and I'll be sure to make this one hell of an adventure.
