do you just ever think about how bellatrix tortured the longbottoms so far into insanity that they didn't even know their own names? like, they were sent to st mungos, almost the equivalent of soulless, and not even to mention neville, who had to live with his abusive grandmother, without an actual legitimate mother or father figure, and was so ashamed that he didn't even tell his friends about them? because what would they think when they're told that nevilles parents are loonies and he lives with a grandmother who doesn't even care for him? so when his grandmother makes fun and pokes at almost everything nevilles does, and he finally discovers he's good at something like herbology, just imagine how happy he was. like?? is that just me?? because this is rly upsetting and i'm not crying you're crying.
