Back with my occasional update on rewriting Guilty:
          
          Honestly I'm making steady progress and already rewrote the first two chapters in a google doc, and I actually combined a lot of the chapters so I technically rewrote five chapters already-
          
          With what I planned out, the story is gonna go from 50 chapters + 2 bonus chapters, to 23 chapters + 2 bonuses like that's just insane?????? I'm not even taking away a lot of stuff, in fact I'm either adding more or replacing stuff-
          
          But I'll keep y'all updated in the future and also keep trying to update Isles at a steady pace and not leave it in the ditch <3

Watching the men’s free skate final was actually the most devastated I’ve ever been watching the olympics so far like omg????
          
          I can’t help but feel empathetic towards every skater so it just HURTS even if who I was rooting for made podium-
          
          Congrats to Mikhail Shaidorov though omg his performance was amazing and definitely deserved that win 

Say what ya’ll want about Bad Bunny’s performance if it wasn’t your cup of tea then alr but for me as a Puerto Rican, it meant so much and the message behind it was beautiful idc 
          
          Showing the slice of life of Puerto Rican and hispanic culture in general resonated with me because it reminded me so much of childhood. Not only that, but touching upon issues that aren’t being addressed despite Puerto Rico being A PART of U.S was so important bc they want to claim the territory but when it comes to actually helping us, suddenly we’re not a part of the country???? 
          
          So yeah this performance was a big 10/10 for me idc, I loved every second of it

Rewriting Guilty and my Taurpio heart is hurting all over again bc why did I add MORE??? And then imagining them with Tyrant oh this is sick and twisted-
          
          Also y’all are finally getting and update of Isles tomorrow fyi <3 

So on the topic beforehand about rewriting Guilty-
          
          I just did an outline of the things I wanted to change just to see how much there was and holy shit it's like I liberated myself from this mortal shell and became obsessed with these characters all over again, it's actually SO MUCH BETTER????
          
          I will say there's like one MAJOR change that will leave me to rework some chapters in Re:Call, but other than that, the story mainly follows the same elements and conclusion, but the actions and specific details make A LOT more sense to me!
          
          Plus I'll probably be able to cut the amount of chapters by half with the way most were between 2 - 4k. I'll keep y'all updated with the progress as the days go and pray that I don't crash and burn-

          Hello! I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, and as we approach the new year, I’d like to bring up this HUGE dilemma I’ve been having-
          
          As you know, a few months ago I put Re:Call on an indefinite hiatus to focus on one story at a time, and not lose my sanity in the process cuz holy hell this shi ain’t for the weak. The problem lies in the book itself. Recently I went back to read Guilty, the first installment, just to refresh myself on what happened and everything…
          
          And I realized I REALLY don’t like that book. Some of the decisions and details started to just turn me off to the point that I can’t even ignore it anymore, and it’s starting to affect my motivation for continuing Re:Call. Then comes the idea to just discontinue the whole series, but that decision doesn’t sound right to me either.
          
          The only thing I’ve thought to do is to potentially rewrite portions of Guilty; the core aspects will all be the same as well as characters’ personalities, but their actions and decisions would make a lot more sense than it did—such as having a more solid reason as to why Taurus was accused and not some half-baked excuse, and more people fighting for her not to be executed. Basically, acting more like people who’ve known each other for over a decade instead of a few weeks-
          
          There would also be minor tweaks in history and some added scenes that would make the book feel more…alive, but then again that’s all just possibility I haven’t decided on yet. 
          
          It would probably take a LONG time to rewrite the portions I want to fix, and then making y’all read all of it over again makes me feel kind of bad, but I don’t know if I can continue Re:Call otherwise. 
          
          Let me know what y’all think about all this. Should I go through with rewriting it or should I just suck it up and keep the decisions I’ve made and continue Re:Call cuz right now, I’m genuinely stuck
