I'm gonna start off this by saying that you are kind of right. The creator of the book took drawing from online and used them without credit. However, as an artist myself, I can say that not every piece of art that I make is copyrighted. Most of it is used by Wattpad writes as backgrounds for their book covers, and I'm perfectly fine with that. I don't care about being credited, because I make art for fun.
          
          I think the way you tried to combat this problem was not very smart. Instead of taking the problem directly to the author, you decided to spam the same comment under random people's comments, earning yourself a lot of hate. It's rude to use other people's comments to call someone out. Especially if you don't know whether the author wrote the story themselves or not.
          
          For all we know, the author could have posted the story on one website years ago, then transferred it here when the story blew up. Plus, using online prompts is something that almost every writer does. You can't exactly get mad at the author for that.
          
          You should also look at copyright tags on stories and art before you judge. Did you look up every piece of art to see if the author actually copyrighted? Did you look up this story on other platforms and ask the author if they had other accounts on other platforms where they might have posted the story?
          
          Check yourself before you post.

Ok. I’m gonna start off by saying that what u said about reporting a certain author bc he/she was getting their ideas from online and the same with their fan art was extremely rude. It was an insult to all authors here on Wattpad. Just like me. 
          Firstly, there’s probably 1 in 300 people who r actually able to use the left side of their brains and create their own perfect fan art. 
          Second, if the internet isn’t there for ideas and explanations then what is it there for. 
          Third, it isn’t copyright if said thing isn’t copyrighted. 
          And fourth, not everyone remembers everything. If someone “hasn’t” given credit where credit is due, then it’s probably bc they forgot. I know I don’t remember everything. Do u? I don’t think so bc apparently u forgot decency and respect for another humans feelings. We work hard here for other people like u to b able to have something to read or simply to get our feelings that we can’t express to others here. Next time u want to disrespectful to someone else think twice.
