I love me a good fic with a beautiful black girl… with that being said… WHY does EVERY black girl in almost EVERY fic that I read have to have braids or a kinky fro (big or small)? Can she have straight hair? Curly hair? Wavy hair? Something? Damn, I mean braids and fros are nice, but other hairstyles and textures do exist. There are black girls and women with hairstyles other than braids and fros and textures other than kinky. Sheesh.
