Quite late, but I felt I should say something. No new chapters have been posted, but DCtDD has been broken into two chapters in an attempt to make it a bit less daunting. The next chapter will come out this week, and hopefully, I will be free and motivated enough to actually write. Until the Sky Falls is not abandoned.
A spin-off in the same world, set around the noble families of Petranis and their battle for the throne, is in the works. It is set after part one, coinciding with parts two and three, so if it comes out before I finish part one, it will contain light spoilers. These spoilers include who gets crowned and what happens next in the war. Both aspects are integral to the plot, so it can not be avoided. Sorry about that. Through this story, currently titled Heaven's Final Warrior, we will see more mage bonds, invaded countries and their religions, and the underground resistance, all through the Tocelyn royal family. Also: Dragons.
