I hope you’re enjoying The Cat Who Saw the World End so far. We’re almost at the halfway point of the novel, with about 20 more chapters to go before it’s finished.
This is only Book 1, and I’m already planning to write Book 2. Actually, it was meant to be just one book, but during the brainstorming and outlining process, I realized it would work better as two separate books.

Hey! Just wanted to let you know I’m about halfway through chapter 13, but it might not be up until next week. It’s been a bit of a rough week on my end. I was recently laid off, so there are a few things I need to work through first. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding; I really appreciate it.
@vamppbuni thank you for the encouraging words! I knew my company was closing in a few months but the owner shut it down much earlier than me and some colleagues expected. So, it took us by surprise. Well, it seems like I'll have a little more time now to plan things out for the story and other projects. :)
That sounded a little weird but my point is take your time and I hope you're able to stay on your feet.
@cgdarkstories Rest and take as much time as you need, anyone unwilling to wait can get over themselves. Writers exist beyond just the purpose of creating stories, you're a person first. I hope you're doing okay and that you'll be alright with the whole being layed off situation, I know that can financially wreck people and I've seen it happen
