idk how views (?) on wattpad work but theres so much unpublished books i have with 50 views even though i dont even click on it that much if that makes sense

i lowkey have a lot of books/oneshots fully written but im too scared to post... idk why... maybe i should just post them and then close out of this website forever lol

hi guys i’m thinking about writing another story but idk if i should cross post (is that the right word?) it like on tumblr or ao3 or another website/app because EVERY TIME i try to post a story it magically gets deleted off the face of the earth a couple days after it gets published. plus im stupid and i dont back my stuff up anywhere so my story is completely gone too. so can someone (no one every replies to my posts lol) please reply and lmk if i should even bother publishing another story or should i completely leave wattpad and go to another website/app? idk im just fed up with wattpad deleting my stuff

hey idk what happened but i updated wattpad and now my chuuves story is gone…? like it wasn’t unpublished or anything it’s just completely gone. i’m so mad. every time im publish a story wattpad somehow manages to delete it. i wrote it on wattpad and i don’t have it saved anywhere else so i guess its completely gone!! amazing!!!

my goal for 2025 is to write ONE book… i think that’s too ambitious though
