@champagnelovers- so basically all you need to do is create an account and once you do you have to get invited it takes like a week, it's invite only lol, and then to search for fic it's very easy to narrow it down to what you want like by word count, tags, fandom, and you can include/exclude like certain tags in your search like for example enemies to lovers included and exclude pregnancy trope, and then when you comment or kudos (ppl are in dire need of comments over there) kudos are kinda like yay woo I like this but you should definitely comment, ao3 had no algorithm so you're in charge of what you see and what you read unlike wattpad, and they're not for profit so sometimes the website goes down for literally no reason bc of the servers (I usually just check ao3 tumblr for that) and ao3 has rules like you can't make "placeholder" fics like on here like spam books and face revs and like a online diary like it's STRICTLY fic only that goes against ToS, and yeah just don't be toxic and make sure to comment if you can, and you can bookmark fics just like here but you can add little notes (be sure not to be negative bc they're set to public on default) or you could hide them yk whatever floats ur boat, and ao3 seems more "professional" bc it's an archive and people pressure authors more to create more iconic fics that's why they seem better so yeah
