I just wrote a tidbit for the next chapter and I cannot stop laughing at the absurdity of this character. #MorningGrouch

Today, I remembered how the person that used to be my best friend wrote a book where I contributed like at least 1/3rd of it. I didn't mind that, and still don't.
          
          She gave me exerts to read, and when I got the full work, I kinda skipped full chapters because there wasn't a lot of change. Like the exerts were 1:1 the same in the novel.
          She said "But there is a lot new", and I re-read it, and while there were some things added, I didn't see any difference to the excerts I already knew.
          
          long story short: I did copy paste a few things, but removed parts that felt overwhelming in the world building. I rather put an "extra" in to build up Madleine and the world she lives in than slowing down the pace with world building only.
          
          Changed a lot to the text, too, and added a lot of additonal info. it's kinda calming I went back to my initial plan. The build up will be quite a challenge.
          
          This is gonna be fun!

Alright, I am close to finish editing the first chapter. And I WILL ignore the normal "etiquette" of "max 2500 words per chapter". 
          first of all, there are very few people who care what I write and secondly: I want to keep it like it would be in a printed format. Sadly, Wattpad doesn't support "turning pages" like you would in a(n E-) book...

Writing blockages are a nightmare. Especially when they are rooted in the sinking realization that your brain is unable to follow simple instructions in a plot document. And you also see some inconsistencies.
          
          damn, I wanted to tackle this when I was done, but as I was soft-editing the novel, I realized I MIGHT have given my ADHD too much power here...
          
          So. yeah. I am currently doing some hard edits. Just so I can CONTINUE WRITING, without my brain nagging.
          
          ...I also might seperate the US (ina and hades) line in a extra book that gets updated every now and then. Maybe not. maybe I just skip editing that and focus on the German part before I decide what to do with the other....
          So, yeah, I am gonna change "Children of Adaygue".
          
          Unfortunatly, I still write in German, so I am sorry, I am gonna use google translate. My english in creative writing is not the yellow from the egg

          I haven't been using this feature for a while, lol. I keep updating "Children of Adaygue" but recently, I hit a roadblock and while I have chapters until March, the German version is stuck af. 
          
          So I do what I always do when i am stuck: i open a new file and type in what I see roughly as the plot for chapter 3. that said, I am not happy with the result, so I am gonna fix it. soon. I hope.
          I probably will try to edit the "l[o/i]ve is a journey" parts to bridge my creative hangover of "Children of adaygue". 
          ...I just wanna dive into the whole drama, but it feels like my idea is slipping away, sob.

hello my beloved rising stars! 
          
          Currently, I have been updating "L[o/i]ve is a Journey" daily, but I cannot keep the schedule up like that anymore.
          
          Firstly, I want to write "Adaygues Children" and focus more on that. And I am a little behind on my own schedule there.
          
          Secondly, I have reached the point where my plot becomes more and more spiked with holes, so I kept pulling things out my nose, lol. I mean, I made that project for my need to be able to do that, but also, I wanted to write about things that didn't feel like an everytday occurance or something.
          
          And while the initial entry to the book is a 3 day course, I wanted it to be one short story, 2000 words and that's it. But oh boy have I underestimate my output when I am in a flow. 
          
          So, yeah, this is why this thing has arcs. who knew. I really thought it's gonna be about how these people travel and find and support each other.
          but, oh well, lol.
          
          So, yeah, now we had ~2 chapters a week, starting at the new arc (which will be named Counterfeit) and will not be something I pulled from my arse, I mean nose, NOSE! lol!
          
          keeping it below 2K words/ chapter is gonna be another challenge. there's gonna be some back and fourth. You'll see. I'll see. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE

It's Wednesday my dudes. And Friday to me. Last day working before I can finally write, read, dig in my garden, plot the next chapter and SLEEP. FUCKING ASS SLEEP. Man, I am tired! Too bad I have to go back next Monday!
          
          Imagine if I could actually capatilize on royalties, lol.

One more day before my vacation kicks in and I can take AAAAALL the time for writing and reading ❤️

So currently, I am writing my main project. It's still in draft and I want at least finish it before diving into publishing.
          I am now in my second thread of the story. coming together nicely.

I swear to god, if I have the first chapter of my main project done, it's gonna feel like the whole book already. I want to jump to chapter two already. SO. DAMN. CLOSE.
