hey everyone! i’ve been meaning to do this for months now but have been putting it off in case i change my mind. i haven’t.
over the last year it seems i’ve lost my passion or rather interest in wattpad (not writing, i will forever love writing). and it’s for that reason that i’ll be officially “signing out”. i’d like to say thank you for everyone who’s supported me and my works and an even bigger ty to all my close mutuals :) ily daria

one of the only things i disliked about thunderbolts* is the fact that everyone was just calling bucky BUCKY. like idk i feel like the nickname's always been more personal and it also just would've made more sense (especially because he became a senator) to refer to him as james.

when i first started this project back in 2023 i knew i'd hold it close to my heart forever. and while there was a rough patch (one year+ with no updates lol) i'm so glad i'm in the right headspace to restart and continue this story. this feels much longer than it needs to be but the main point i'm trying to say is thank you! :,)

hate to be the bearer of bad news but i only share this bc i don't want people to start attacking other people, yelena belova isn't canonically aroace. she definitely can be interpreted on the spectrum for fanon purposes but it's not canon. (coming from a comic reader, who, also sees yelena as aroace!)

@chaosmagicc oh I definitely agree, I think that this is where the debate of whether she is aroace is so hard to understand from the perspective of others, I myself wanted to write a yelena fic once until i learned she was aroace and after reading the comics i felt she was very aroace coded and writing fics could be disrespectful towards the character and those who identify with her. platonic fics aren’t a problem, i just think because of the endless debate of her sexuality and how it’s perceived as canon and not a head canon by fans, there shouldn’t be any romantic fics written for her character unless stated otherwise.

@chaosmagicc yeah it’s definitely not something to send death threats over oh my god??? people are insane sometimes?? & i understand that some see that line as a response to her trauma in the red room & i can see why but at the same time i truly do believe she’s just not interested in any romantic relationships because i don’t remember her having any relationships in the comics? i might be totally wrong there it’s been ages since i read any comic book LMAO but yeah totally if people want to believe she is any other sexuality that’s cool but i like to imagine her being aroace and asexual because there’s little to no real representation in media or is just treated poorly so to have a character as yelena belova being a representation of it i think it’s a really cool thing to have!!
