hi cutie! i don’t know if you usually check your board messages but it feels so absurd to hold back all i want to share with you after having finished silent circuits. the first two months of my summer passed by quicker than a breeze and every day felt like it was a bunch of grains of sand slipping through my fingers without any control on the pace, all until i clicked on your book. i was looking for a silly way to pass my time, going in without the highest expectations and just a need of a read and, without a loud realisation but with a deep certainty, once I finished the first chapter, i knew i was going to fall in love with every word you wrote. i couldn’t unglue my eyes from the screen, whether it was the afternoon while cooking, morning on the beach while catching the sunrise and tanning or in the middle of the night after a loud party or a nightmare. your writing is magical and so are your characters, especially siofra. i found myself drenched in waves of motivation to write again, inspired by her writing, although simultaneously yours. towards the end of the book, i tried my hardest to read less, so the soft words on my screen and the dublin breeze could linger for longer, but in a humorous juxtaposition, i couldn’t let one day go by without engaging with your book somehow. i’m deeply saddened its over but i also am eternally grateful to have bejewelled my eyes with this perfect story. i love your mind and i am genuinely beyond excited to fall in love with everything else you want to share with the world. thank you for silent circuits <3
