          Hi everyone!
          
          First of all, I’m really, really sorry for disappearing for so long. 🥹
          
          I know it has been quite a while since I last updated The Boy Who Sat by the Window, especially after Chapter 21. We literally ended the mountain trip there, and then... I disappeared. 😭
          
          There are honestly a few reasons for that.
          
          The biggest one is probably me procrastinating way more than I should. 😭 But apart from that, my college has started, and things have been a little overwhelming. There have been assignments, presentations, practical work, classes, and a whole bunch of things that I’m still trying to figure out.
          
          Because of that, writing kept getting pushed further and further down my list.
          
          And honestly, I feel really bad about it.
          
          I know there are people who are still reading, waiting for the next chapter, and even somehow continuing to find the story while I’m sitting here doing absolutely nothing about it. 😭 The fact that the views are still slowly increasing even during my break genuinely means a lot to me.
          
          So, to everyone who has stayed, read, waited, commented, voted, or simply opened the story again after all this time...
          
          Thank you. Truly.
          
          And I’m really sorry I made you wait this long.
          
          I don’t want to rush Chapter 22 just because I feel guilty about the break. I want to give Xiaoyu, Yichen, Meilin, and Gu Wei the chapter they deserve, especially because Chapter 22 is going to be a little different from the chapters before it.
          
          So yes...
          
          I’m finally trying to get myself back into writing mode. 🥹

Hello everyone!
          I'm finally free! 
          My exams officially ended yesterday, and I can't even explain how happy I am to finally come back to this story properly.
          First of all, thank you so much to everyone who has read this story, voted, commented, added it to their reading lists, or simply stayed here patiently while I was busy with exams. Every bit of support means more to me than you know.
          I also wanted to share a small update.
          As some of you already know, I'm not only working on future chapters now, but I'm also going back and editing the previous chapters. Don't worry though! I'm not changing the storyline, plot twists, characters, friendships, or relationships.
          Everything will remain exactly the same.
          The purpose of editing is simply to make the story better. I'll be adding more details, deeper character moments, stronger descriptions, richer emotions, and more slice-of-life elements to make Qinghe and its characters feel even more alive.
          I'm also planning to add more cultural details, daily life moments, food, traditions, and small touches that will make the setting feel more authentic and immersive without changing the story itself.
          So if you ever notice a chapter being edited, don't panic! ❤️
          Nothing important is being removed or changed.
          I'm simply polishing the story and giving it the attention it deserves.
          At the same time, I'm also working on future chapters, and trust me when I say that I have so many exciting ideas planned for our four favorite idiots. 
          Some funny moments.
          Some heart-fluttering moments.
          Some emotional moments.
          And many memories that I can't wait to share with all of you.
          Whether there are 6 followers or 600 followers, I'm genuinely grateful for every single person who decided to give this story a chance.

 Little Update for My Readers 
          
          Hi everyone!
          
          Chapter 16 is completely ready, and trust me, I'm very excited to share it with you all. 
          
          Unfortunately, I won't be able to publish it right away because my exams have started, and this time they're continuous with no gaps between them. So most of my time will be focused on studying until they're over.
          
          My last exam is on 10th June, and that's the day I plan to upload Chapter 16! ✨

hellooo my old readers 
          
          so today i finally posted chapter 14, and honestly… i’m really happy with how much this story has grown 
          
          while writing the newer chapters, i realized something. i feel like some of the older chapters (especially chapter 1 to 13) are a bit shorter than the vibe i actually want for this story now. the story has grown softer, warmer, and more detailed over time, and i want the earlier chapters to match that feeling too.
          
          so i decided that i’ll slowly start editing the previous chapters whenever i get time ✨
          
          i’ll be adding:
          more emotional scenes,
          small character moments,
          funny situations,
          better atmosphere,
          and some new interactions that make the relationships feel more natural and alive.
          
          don’t worry, the main plot won’t change!! i just want the chapters to feel fuller and more immersive 
          
          it may take time because i’ll edit them little by little, but i’ll try my best to improve every chapter from 1 to 13 while continuing the story too 
          
          and honestly… chapter 14 made me realize how much i love writing these characters now
