          This is so so surreal! Seeing people discover San Bartolomé, meet these characters, and experience the story for the first time is honestly the coolest part of all of this.

The discovery brings old wounds back to the surface—and draws Mia into a history she has spent her entire life trying to understand from a distance.
          
          As strange events begin unfolding around the house, Mia and her family are forced to confront more than the circumstances surrounding their grandmother’s death.

          I honestly don’t know how to thank everyone enough for reading, commenting, theorizing, and engaging with this story. 1,000 reads and an entire week in the no. 10 spot in #horror?! WOW. I’m so humbled by the support this story has received. Your support has meant more than I can really put into words.
          
          This first book was always going to be experimental for me. It was my first time building a story like this, and I’m genuinely excited to hear what worked for you, what didn’t, which characters you loved, and what you think could have been done differently. So please, if you’ve finished the story, leave your thoughts and feedback there—I would absolutely love to hear them.
          
          It’s also incredibly bittersweet to say goodbye to the sisters of San Bartolomé—Madeleine and Isabelle, as well as Morgan and Naomi, and all of the supporting characters who made this story what it was.
          
          But there’s something comforting about knowing this isn’t really goodbye. I get to experience San Bartolomé again and again as new readers discover the story, meet these characters for the first time, and walk through those abbey doors without knowing what awaits them.
