Would you consider doing a similar story to peach with the fem oc getting pregnant in hogwarts by james, but were james doesn't use the fem oc to make lily jealous, he realises how awful lily is maybe in his 2nd or 3rd year and moves his obsession onto someone else from a different house. Lily could notice maybe in her 6th or 7th year how she wants james chasing after her so she can be rich and not have to work for anything. Fem oc friends with snape from 1st year and makes snape realise that lily isnt worth the bullying he receives.
James, siruis and moony help her somewhat hide the pregnancy and severus if you make fem oc and him friends, but they dont involve wormtail as fem oc doesnt trust him and gets an odd feeling around him. No james and fem oc dying, maybe have the fem ocs birthday be around the end of July so she ends up defeating voldemort as the prophecy doesn't exactly say who just that its someone at the end of July and will be marked as voldemorts equal. You could also make it more interesting by having the fem oc be from the future and shes brought into the past to change things by death. You could make the fem oc lady peverell from the beginning and she takes severus in and saves him from the abuse from his father.
