collaboration and roleplay are most enjoyable when there is balance and equal effort . i take time to develop characters , create backstories , and write replies that move the story forward . in return , i ask that the same energy be given back . when effort is one-sided , it not only makes the process less enjoyable but also causes me to lose motivation for the characters and interactions we are building together .
this doesn’t mean every reply has to be long , but it should show genuine thought and engagement with the story . creativity and collaboration work best when both people are contributing , and that’s the environment i want to keep . thank you .
